Grandparents of 59 or (or is it 60?) Grandkids

Great-Grandparents of way more than I can count now...

They taught their children the Importance of Families
& The Value of Work.

They showed them they were important by making time for family events and reunions and also demonstrated how to work hard and value a job well done.

Although they live apart now, due to Mom's Alzheimer's they are still connected on such a deep level and we all know they will be "Together Forever"

The Metcalf Family Home in Charlottesville, VA. 

David was raised here from the time he was 4 years old years old.

 They moved here when Dad Metcalf became a professor
 at the University of Virginia.

They moved from Michigan to VA with 9 kids and then they had 1 more,
 5 Brothers and 5 Sisters in all!
